Good to know

Goblet Squat questions.

What muscles does the goblet squat work?

The quads and glutes contribute to the squat. The adductors and trunk also help control the movement and keep you balanced.

How do I hold a dumbbell for a goblet squat?

Hold one end close to your chest with both hands, keeping your elbows comfortably down and the weight steady.

Is a goblet squat the same as a barbell back squat?

Both are squat patterns, but the load position and equipment differ. A goblet squat holds one weight at the chest; a back squat rests a bar across the upper back.

Can I use a kettlebell instead of a dumbbell?

A kettlebell can be held at the chest in a similar goblet position. Adjust your grip and range to the shape and weight of the equipment.
